YOGA NIDRA

Often referred to as yogic sleep, Yoga Nidra is an ancient practice that allows one to experience the deeper levels of consciousness. Yoga Nidra takes you to the deepest levels of relaxation, while still remaining fully aware. It is in this state that healing and integration can occur.

YOGA & YOUR AYURVEDIC DOSHA

Ayurveda is the sister science to Yoga. It offers a rich and vibrant system for bringing the body into balance. Ayurveda recognizes five basic elements (Doshas) and the role they play in balancing our own individual constitutions (Prakruti). We will explore our own relationship to the Doshas and the effect they have on our health and well being.

Saturday, November 15 • 2:30-4:30pm

YOGA PRACTICE TO RESTORE BALANCE TO YOUR DOSHA

As we continue to explore our relationship to the Doshas, we will experience 3 basic practice sessions to compliment/balance each of the major Doshas. This session includes practices to balance Kapha (earth-water), Pitta (fire-water) and Vata (air-ether).

Sunday, November 16 • 10:00am-12:00pm

YOGA PRACTICES TO OPEN THE HEART

In these times of uncertainty, our hearts need a reminder of the beauty and divine light that emanates from our pure self. Yoga beckons us to call consciousness back to the heart where it can reside in pure joy. Throughout the Yoga tradition, there are practices that call us deeply into the experience of our own hearts. In doing so, we train ourselves to move through the world with heart.
