Teacher Training Certification Program (Yoga Alliance 200 hours)
Now taking names for this year's training program to start in October 2008!
The teacher training program is a 9-month program; meeting one weekend per month (with some additional dates and times for practice teaching and special training.) NOTE: Curriculum, material covered, and availability of guest teachers could vary based on the on enrollment in program.

Introduction, program overview, Raja Yoga, Yamas and Niyamas, Ethics, The Pranic Sheaths, Teaching Relaxation, and Types/Styles of Yoga
November 7, 8, 9
Teaching Methodology, Overview of Chakras & Doshas, Asana (Variations, Contraindications, and Benefits.) The chakra model will be covered in more detail during sessions upcoming in March, 2009 (see below.)

Teaching Methodology continued, Alexander Technique with John Macy, PT PRC.
